Job Description:

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time School-Based Therapist to add to our team of professionals.  This position will work in our Child & Family Services Division and provide school-based assessments, therapy and other services to children and their families. 

$3,000 Sign-On BONUS offered for this position!!! ($1,500 after 90 days / $1,500 after 6 months of employment)

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?


  • This position is year-round.

  • Provide individual, family and group therapy to children identified to be at-risk by their school.

  • Provide clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment services in a school setting. 

  • Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect patient progress and document treatment plans and goals.

  • Maintain documentation and submit reports according to established time frames. 

  • Communicate professionally, make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies. 

  • Conduct consultation and education activities to community and professional groups as needed.

  • Maintain contact with other service providers, community agencies, schools, and civic organizations to enhance community awareness and public relations.

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?


  • Applicants must have a Master's Degree AND have one of the following licenses: temp LSW, LSW, LCSW, LMFT-A, LMFT, LMHC-A, or LMHC. Preference given to LSW/LCSW candidates.  Temp LSW candidates must pass the LSW exam within 3 months of hire.  LSW/LMFT-A/LMHC-A must pass the LCSW/LMFT/LMHC within six months of eligibility.

  • Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement, and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.

  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
