Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Scrum Master PM/BA
Position type: Full Time Contract
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: Iselin, NJ
As a Scrum Master you will:
Notes: This individual will be managing scrum teams for their large cloud-based data warehouse.
Needs to come out of Financial Services, along with being technical (preferred knowledge in Snowflake, Python, ETL/ELT processing), along with experience working with Atlassian suite of products (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Must have a College degree (Bachelors)
Will be working on a hybrid schedule in Iselin, NJ (MetroPark); 3-days onsite and the rest remote
No letterhead; 41% mark-up (W2); Need Month/Day of birth, along with last 4 of SS#
Major Responsibilities:
• Basic functions of scrum master: Sprint planning, daily scrums, grooming of backlog, retrospectives, managing burn downs, etc. • Maintain RAID log for teams under management • Work with project team to convey status reports • Be capable of balancing PMO milestones with scrum activities by assessing team velocity, blockers and conflicts. • Environmental Management when needed for projects • Coach and mentor in agile best practices • Ability to shield team from outside distractions and interferences. Skills: Requirements:
7 to 12 years of experience required
Financial background. Prefer knowledge in Derivative, Cash, Finance and Banking products.
Technical background. Prefer knowledge in Snowflake, Python, ETL/ELT processing
Experience with Atlassian suite of products (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
Understand agile approaches (Kanban, Scrum)
Familiar with common development practices and the SDLC
Ability to multitask several ongoing issues. This involves the ability to assess priority and make appropriate decisions quickly and effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective presentation skills.
Education: College degree
