Summary:
Supervise Warehouse Department employees in line with company policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include:
Training employees.
Planning, assigning, and directing work.
Scheduling and managing overtime.
Appraising employee performance.
Disciplining employees as needed.
Addressing complaints and resolving issues.
Ensure inventory accuracy (both from the floor and external vendors).
Maintain cleanliness in the dock area.
Ensure product quality and safety processes are consistently followed.
Promote a safe work environment.
Follow all safety and policy procedures as set by Tyson Foods.
Additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Warehousing or equivalent; or 3 years of experience in a food production warehousing environment.
Experience: Prior experience in a Lead or Warehouse Supervisory role is preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Travel: Some travel may be required for training.
Special Skills: Must be a motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn and lead others.
