This position is responsible for assisting in maintaining financial reporting for the International Business Unit. Responsibilities may include:
Ensure accounting records, monthly accounting close activities, and variance analysis are adequately and properly prepared, maintained and explained in a timely manner.
Preparing financial reports: Supporting all consolidated financial reporting, including the Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flows, and Working Capital
Ensuring compliance with GAAP across all entities
Evaluating foreign exchange exposure: Evaluating the company's foreign exchange exposure and implementing the necessary accounting procedures and controls
Ability to mine for, manipulate and analyze large data sets.
Build reporting tools (PBI dashboards) and generate accurate and timely ad-hoc reporting from multiple data sources to perform analysis.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor s degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this job Accounting or Finance degree preferred
Experience: 3 plus years of related experience preferred
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of SAP and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word and Powerpoint preferred
Communication Skills: Excellent written presentation and verbal communication skills
Special skills: Certified Public Accountant preferred but not required Excellent technical accounting knowledge and ability to research complex GAAP accounting standards and document conclusions Strong team-oriented skills as well as a high level of self-motivation in working independently Ability to work with a diverse group of people across various levels functions and locations Track record for exceeding multiple goals on various short-term projects simultaneously.
