Duration - 6 Months
Location - Irvine, CA
Max Pay - $43.76
Description:
The Supply Chain Analyst will provide logistics analysis and operational support within the Global Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics team. This is a great opportunity as this position will support the business growth of our innovative and patient-focused company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the daily management and interactions with transportation carriers, 3PL warehouses, Customer Service team, and other internal & external groups in order to safely transport products to our patients.
* Work with external freight forwarders, transportation carriers, Finance teams, and our freight audit & payment partner to maintain the weekly freight payment process
* Ensure that freight dollars are matched to the proper General Ledger accounts while working on methods to reduce the complexity of our GL coding logic
* Perform routine analysis to improve supply chain operations
* Provide support and data to improve visibility in Global Logistics dashboards, metrics, and communication tools that support our global Business Units, Regional teams, warehouses, and Manufacturing facilities
* Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership

* High level of experience with MS Excel; working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Word is required. MS Access, QlikView, and EDI system integration experience/knowledge is preferred
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
* 2-4 years of Supply Chain &/or Financial experience required and/or work experience in the medical device industry or a similarly regulated industry is also preferred

o Manages transportation logistics for the organization. This role will provide someone with the ability to directly support providing life-saving products to patients.
* Does your team use any specific technology/software that is required?
o Individual must have experience with a large ERP software (the team uses JD Edwards)
o Proficient in Microsoft office (specifically Excel)
o Any logistics management/carrier portal software experience is welcomed!
* What will a typical workday look like?
o Process and analyze logistics data for the organization. The role includes, but is not limited to remittance processing, shipment issues resolution, and analyzing supply chain data.
* What will the work schedule be? Can any overtime be expected?
o Standard office hours, limited OT.
