Lead efforts to secure contracts utilizing the Design-Build delivery method, from identifying potential clients, initial contact, through contract execution
Responsibilities:
Lead efforts to secure contracts utilizing the Design-Build delivery method, from identifying potential clients, initial contact, through contract execution
In cooperation with preconstruction, estimating and project-construction operations team(s) oversee design phase, design through construction and project close-out
Oversee in-house design support team to develop early project planning, programming and concepts for projects
Develop and lead RFP process for procuring 3rd party design partners for Design-Build projects
Support executives in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee determination, and pricing decisions
Serve as primary point of contract for 3rd party design partners and client during Design Phase
Assist in development of project scopes of work (for subcontracting) and evaluation of bids
Ensure full understanding of client's project goals and integration into the project design
Monitor overall project performance and develop key performance indicators
Participate in industry organizations and maintain client contacts
General knowledge of construction budgeting and estimating processes
Perform other tasks not included herein that are determined to be essential

Promote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
Reliable transportation to and from the project
Willingness to travel occasionally based on regional locations
Able to carry and set up a laptop at project sites
Physically able to walk on project sites that are in some phase of construction
Computer / Technology:
Proficient in the use of personal computers including iPad/tablet device
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related construction software
Basic knowledge of uploading and managing web-based document storage
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's/Four (4) year degree in Architecture
Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage and direct on-site project teams to successful completions
AIA / Registered Architect in State of Ohio and/or North Carolina
