Meta is seeking a highly motivated and talented Silicon CAD Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a member, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative AR/MR silicon solutions.
Silicon CAD Infrastructure Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain CAD infrastructure for silicon design teams and collaborate with silicon designers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions
Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to improve design efficiency and productivity
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CAD infrastructure, including hardware and software problems
Participate in the development of best practices and standards for CAD infrastructure
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in CAD infrastructure and silicon design, firmware and software
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
1+ years of programming experience in languages such as Python, Unix Shell, TCL and SQL
Experience with CAD tools and methodologies, including design automation and verification
Familiarity with Linux operating systems and shell scripting
Experience analyzing complex problems and identifying effective solutions
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a team and with cross-functional partners
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps tools
Knowledge of silicon design flows and methodologies
Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts
Experience with version control systems such as Git and Mercurial
