Responsible for technologyarchitecture, coordinating the design, implementations and leadership of adistributed operations enterprise.  Overseesthe selection, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of theOSU-OKC business application infrastructure.  Provides leadership in the development and implementation ofstrategic initiatives and processes that provide university stakeholders with instructionaltechnologies and decision making and reporting data. Experienced in developing Amazon Web Services based database and enterpriseintelligence systems. Responsible for Customer Relationship Managing (CRM)Administrator and provide strategic leadership to increase adoption, ensuregovernance, compliance and resource optimization. Primary liaison with various systemdevelopers, responsible departments for ongoing and new development,documentation and training of complex systems. Proactively managesuniversity data identifies and resolves impediments influencing timelyinformation delivery. Creates and sustains relationships with internal andexternal partners and ensures that the EnterpriseSystems team possesses the necessary knowledge and skills.
 
Essential Job Functions:
 

    Works closely withuniversity departments to determine, assist and provide timely and accurate operationaland decision-making data.Ensure availabilityand understanding of complex data systems necessary to provide accurateinformation.Provide analysis,design, implementation and maintenance of database applications, serverhardware and software installation to support database applications.Directsperformance tuning and capacity planning activities to enhance the performanceof the network resources.  Forecasttechnology changes impacting demand and reviews analytics of system and networkutilization and availability to develop recommendations for future planning.Serve as the primarycontact technology contact for the OSU A&M for Banner system operations.Develops complex timesensitive integrations or similar for campus stakeholders.Develops databasedriven services for private and public facing applications as necessary.Working knowledge ofSharePoint and other enterprise information sharing systems, including sitecreation, permission granting, and user group maintenance.Provides oversight for enterpriselevel instructional technology resources and tools.Developsplans for business continuity, disaster recovery, contract services, andoutsourcing arrangements, as appropriate.Providesteam leadership and personnel oversight, development and evaluation to ensuretrusted support.Preparesrecommendations and effectively manages budgets for areas ofresponsibility.  Negotiates technologyprocurements and contracts.Develops and maintains positiveworking relationships with the OSU-System personnel, community partners, and otherOSU A&M universities.Completes all mandatory trainingand participates in a minimum of two professional development each year.Performsother duties assigned.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in management information systems,computer science, business, or closely related field. Relevant work experience orapplicable certificates may substitute for formal education.



Work Experience:




    Direct administration and technical leadership of integrated CRM platforms.Experience with Ellucian Banner systems and complex system integrations.Minimum of three to five years of SQL and windows server administration.Minimum of three to five years of experience in enterprise/business intelligence systems and/or database management including Microsoft and Amazon Web Services technologies.Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience as a manager/supervisor of small to medium sized enterprise system or development teams.

Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities:

 
    Experience in server and client virtualization and experience in project planning, implementation and management. Knowledge of local data center design/management and cloud computing. Demonstrated commitment to customer and team-oriented management.Demonstrated management of technical team while providing vision, planning and development to achieve strategic goals. Strong interpersonal analytical, organizational and communications skills.Provide data collection and analysis process and oversite of applicable enterprise applications including design, operations and training.Skilled with object-oriented programming and knowledgeable designing and managing relational databases and network systems.Experience in directing and managing diverse teams and stakeholders to ensure success of multiple competing projects/tasks.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate diplomatically, clearly, and effectively, both verbally and in writing to exchange information, give/receive instructions and respond to inquiries appropriately with all students, faculty, staff and community partners.High degree of initiative to work independently and also collaborate in a team environment.Demonstrated knowledge of office technologies including but not limited to office computers, fax machines, scanners, internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).Passion for assisting customers and representing the OSU-OKC and OSU brand with positivity and professionalism.Demonstrated history of ethical and professional behavior.





Preferred Qualifications:


    5 years of experience as an enterprise system manager or development supervisor.
    Master's degree in management information systems, computer science, business, or closely related field.
    Previous experience in a university/higher education environment.
    Prior experience in supporting advanced CRM systems with preference in a university environment.


Working Conditions:


    Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include some evenings and weekends.Work will be performed in an office environment with a significant amount of public contact, in person, by telephone, via email, and various communication platforms.


Physical Requirements:

    Duties require extended periods of sitting, talking and listening.
    Duties require extensive use of computers, telephone and other office equipment.
    Requires possible lifting of up to 45 lbs (if an object weighs more than 45 pounds, OSU-Oklahoma City requires this to be a two person lift.).
    Requires proper handling of computers, components and technology equipment, use of both hands in repetitive actions, simple grasping, and fine manipulation.
