The Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University seeks an innovative and collaborative researcher to join the Division as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the University Tenure Line, University Medical Line or the Non-tenure Line (Research). We are particularly interested in candidates with MD, MD/PhD, PhD (or equivalent degrees).
Faculty rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The typical candidate would have board certification in adolescent medicine or comparable experience and training, which may include training or certifications obtained outside of the US.
The Division of Adolescent Medicine is dedicated to promoting the physical and emotional well-being of adolescents and young adults through clinical care, education, research, leadership, and advocacy. The clinical program is multi-faceted.
The educational program provides education and training at several levels.
Research and scholarly activity within the Division of Adolescent Medicine focuses on understanding and promoting adolescent and young adult health and preventing engagement in health risk behaviors both in the US and globally. Notable studies include:
