Position Overview:

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the full oversight of facilities, Warehouse Mgt, Transportation, personnel, and budgeting and planning. Partner with Regional Director of Operations, General Manager and senior leaders on key decisions that impact employee workforce, expenses and/or changes to profits.

We passionately serve customers in the JanSan, Foodservice, and Industrial Packaging markets, delivering the right products and solutions to ensure their businesses are more successful everyday.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides direction and leadership for Distribution Centers key business activities associated with strategic goal accomplishment in support of overall Company objectives.
  • Cultivate and lead a direct report team of managers and supervisors in the D/C environment.
  • Evaluate, review, and coach all direct and indirect report associates to achieve goals. Partner with HR to develop organizational structures that make effective use of available personnel, capabilities and which facilitate the effective conduct of the business.
  • Recruits, trains, evaluates, and manages the performance of employees. Has a direct supervisory responsibility for team members in order to create and maintain a highly functioning team environment and for purposes of succession planning.
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility including monitoring and improve revenue stream and managing budgets, expenses, and profitability for all sites.
  • Keep track of staffing requirements and hire new talent as needed to correspond with specific duties and skill sets.
  • Complete DC facility management to include security, maintenance, etc.
  • Responsible for the location’s safety program and the wellness of the employees.
  • Represents BradyPLUS in a positive and professional manner to the customers. Promotes BradyPLUS within the local community in which it operates.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree in business, technical, or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years progressive leadership preferably in Distribution.
  • Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
  • Exhibits emotional intelligence, good interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills; strong program/project management skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in employee development including coaching, mentoring, and empowerment.
  • Acts with integrity, works collaboratively, and meets commitments.
  • Bilingual a PLUS.
