RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a SQL IT Data Analyst in Fort Myers, FL.

Key Tasks:


  • Interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques

  • Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

  • Collaborates with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization

  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

  • Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality to ensure production data is always accurate and available

  • Writes unit/integration tests, contributes to engineering wiki, and documents work

  • Works closely with a team of frontend and backend engineers, developers, and analysts

  • Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources

  • Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems

  • Developing and maintaining databases, data systems - reorganizing data in a readable format

  • Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data

  • Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction

  • Preparing reports for management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data

  • Working with departmental analysts, developers, engineers, and leadership to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies

  • Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Associate's degree and 2+ years of prior experience required in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, Engineering, Statistics or equivalent

  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases

  • Proven working experience in data analysis

  • Experience designing and maintaining data systems and databases; This includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems

  • Familiarity with Cloud Datawarehouse technologies (Snowflake/Redshift) and AWS Cloud services

  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data

  • Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analysis

  • Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Qlik, etc.

  • Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations

  • Team-working; Verbal and written communication skills






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
