Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's most notable Automotive and Energy Company is looking for a Night Shift CSA (Civil Structural Architectural) Superintendent with Commercial and or Industrial experience to join their Sparks, NV team.

Summary:
As Superintendent, this role will be playing a critical role in construction projects, leading the construction of Tenant Improvements. The Superintendent will be the main coordinator of field operations and will need to work cross-functionally, interfacing with base build, construction engineering, and engineering while driving a project's schedule and budgets.

Day to day:

• Daily morning communications with all Team Leads and Foreman ensure proper installations


• Handle up and coming questions/issues that foreman cannot handle


• Daily work and scheduling for upcoming projects


• Handle past due RFIs


• Communications with field personnel, talking to Foreman directly and have all materials needed


• Support R&D projects and Tenant Improvements


• Architectural support, steel frame walls, light steel and light weight barring applications: Create a P6 and create 5 week look ahead schedules; Sequencing of various tasks

REQUIREMENTS:

• Past field experience preferred (experience as foreman and field superintendent)


• CSA background - Priority - Structural and Architectural


• Commercial/Industrial - no residential


• Architectural, steel frame walls - anything inside TI building


• Structural - light steel and light weight barring applications


• Anything above that is handed to iron workers


• Someone who is proactive to take responsibility without directing them


• Building code knowledge is big bonus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
