RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is working with a client in search of Lead Business Analyst - Record-to-Report (RTR) in Secaucus, NJ.

Summary:
The Lead Business Analyst - RTR will handle complex assignments that require significant judgment and initiative in resolving problems and recommending business process improvements related to Finance. This role will primarily focus on SAP FICO modules, including Advanced Credit Management, Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). The Lead will leverage SAP Best Practice solutions to minimize custom development, facilitating periodic SAP upgrades while ensuring business processes remain robust and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
Client-End-User Relations (25%):


  • Provide day-to-day production support for record-to-report processes

  • Understand and support business processes that integrate with SAP Finance modules

  • Work with users to fulfill specific data requests (e.g., reports, audits) and ensure timely data delivery

  • Track and resolve open issues, validating configurations to meet business requirements

  • Support compliance audits, including JSOX

Specifications (25%):

  • Facilitate business and functional requirements gathering workshops for complex projects

  • Document business requirements and functional specifications

  • Map business processes (AS-IS and TO-BE) and document procedures

Processes (25%):

  • Conduct business analysis to identify areas for process improvement

  • Promote and implement SAP Best Practice solutions

  • Develop and present recommendations to enhance business operations

Testing (25%):

  • Prepare test plans and scripts, performing unit and quality assurance testing

  • Review and validate user acceptance testing, ensuring alignment with business requirements

  • Participate in software selection and recommendation based on documented needs







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Undergraduate degree required; Advanced degree preferred in Business or IT

  • 10+ years of experience in financial business processes

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP S/4 RTR (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, etc.)

  • Project Management experience is preferred

  • Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S4 Hana implementations

  • Deep understanding of standard SAP S/4 solutions and the ability to identify and resolve problems

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills; Ability to interpret complex data

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences

  • Proven adaptability to changing environments and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Creative and innovative thinking with a focus on detail

  • Strong teamwork and service-oriented mindset

Other Requirements:

  • Remote employment with occasional travel (up to 25%)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
