This position is responsible for configuring and installing computers and printers, assist with IT asset procurement and inventory management, special event setup and tear down, and other projects as assigned. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of computers and interest in enterprise information technology.
Responsibilities
Follow established procedure for configuration of laptops, including imaging standard builds, baseline software installation, and final testing.
Log and update requests in tracking systems.
Maintain inventory and asset management lifecycle.
Oversee decommissioning of retired equipment.
Assist with installation of computer peripherals.
Manage equipment deployment and relocation as part of onboarding and office moves.
Coordinate with vendors for repair of laptops, desktops, and printers.
Manage telephone extensions and handsets.
Check for proper functioning and coordinate with vendors for repair of AV and conferencing equipment.
Work with vendors to order standard hardware and monitor inventory.
Other projects as required.
Requirements
Previous experience supporting Mac and PC operating systems and hardware in a professional role.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to independently identify and prioritize tasks.
Proven problem solving skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
