Job Description:

Title: Facilities Engineer

Location: Various


Mindseeker is looking for Facilities Engineers with overseas experience for multiple international opportunities. The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day facility operation and maintenance at the company's international facilities. The Facilities Engineer should be proficient in electrical maintenance, HVAC systems, and/or plumbing, and be comfortable with being hands-on when needed. Top candidates will also be computer and technology-savvy with experience in the installation and maintenance of computer networks including cabling and enterprise IT hardware. A multilingual individual with strong communications skills in English is highly desired. Candidates should interested in/be able to work on a rotational travel schedule and/or relocate to the Middle East, North Africa, or Asia. Candidates must abide by a drug-free workplace policy and are subject to testing.



The successful candidate will:



  • Manage multiple projects and priorities




  • Determine potential or actual causes of failure, evaluate system efficiency and reliability, and determine improvement opportunities




  • Lead or assist in the review, development, and implementation of safety, operations, and maintenance, ensuring consistency and use of best practices




  • Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs of building systems and infrastructure




  • Survey assigned facilities and develop recommendations for improvements




  • Be willing to conduct basic troubleshooting of the mechanical equipment




  • Assist in the planning of new physical structures and alterations to existing facilities




  • Be multi-lingual (Arabic/Urdu language fluency is preferred), with the ability to read instructions and communicate in English





Requirements:



  • Engineering/Technical degree, or a combination of education and experience




  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills




  • Strong oral and written communication skills




  • Detail-oriented organizational skills




  • Be dependable, adaptable, flexible, and creative




  • Knowledgeable of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, and fire systems operations and maintenance




  • Basic computer skills and demonstrate willingness and ability to learn other applications related to the job




  • Comfortable managing multicultural teams and navigating cultural differences
