We are currently seeking a Senior Accounts PayableCoordinator towork with highly skilled professionals on diverseproject teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time hybrid position located in our Burlington, MA office.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure accurate coding of invoices to proper project and expense categories.
  • Process employee expense reports, verifying coding and appropriate receipts.
  • Process travel expenses.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers, checks, and ACH payments and upload files to bank.
  • Reconcile corporate credit cards.
  • Oversee and maintain the AP mailbox, research issues, and respond to inquiries.
  • Responsible for overseeing vendor setup, W-9 tax forms for vendors, & year-end 1099 processing.
  • Manage process for self-assessment of use tax.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in month end & year end work to get the AP items posted.
  • Reclass AP items as requested by the GL team.
  • Serve as a backup for the AP Supervisor as needed.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Five + years experience in accounts payable and expense reimbursement.
  • Must demonstrate high level of proficiency with Deltek or other similar ERP.
  • Experience with compliance related to 1099 and W9 compliance.
  • Must have strong written, verbal and telephone communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Experience in engineering and / or construction industry a plus.
  • Associates / bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business-related field a plus.
