This position is expected to pay $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Description of Duties:
The IT Operations & Service Delivery Deputy supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The IT Operations & Service Delivery Deputy reports directly to the IT Service Delivery Chief and is responsible for assisting with the orchestration and execution of associated ITSD product teams supporting two Task Orders within the ITSD department. Reports to the Delivery Lead on cost, schedule, and performance objectives for all assigned product teams.
Responsibilities
The candidate will:
Overseeing all aspects of service design and sustainment for assigned product teams.
The effective execution of all IT service operations to include oversight of a 24x7 operations center; ensuring that services are aligned and available.
Being accountable to the Director for understanding operational imperatives, initiatives, and directives that must be accomplished for mission success.
Ensuring services and products are delivered using common operational processes.
Overseeing product team activity to restore service interruptions, fulfill user requests, resolve service failures, troubleshoot and fix problems, as well as to carry out daily operational and maintenance tasks.
Adjudicating and resolve resourcing and prioritization conflicts among assigned product teams and represent assigned teams, when necessary, in broader cross-organizational resolutions.
Advocating for resources required by assigned teams for mission accomplishment and enhancement.
Optimizing customer visibility, manage priorities, standardize requirements, support task order cost accounting and forecasting, and manage throughput.
Managing the timeliness, completeness, and quality of administrative deliverables.
Providing corrective action plans, proposal submittals, timely identification of issues, and effective management of subcontractors.
Ensuring all assigned product teams meet required service level agreements/standards.
Guaranteeing product team resources are efficiently and effectively managed
Ensuring that all Enterprise Architecture activities and products are deliberately considered and appropriately integrated into support activities, products, and services.
Ensuring good cybersecurity discipline is integrated into all assigned products and activities.
Leveraging MDA investment in digital and cloud technology to improve the operability and reduce the cost of ownership of MDA infrastructure
Enhancing and improving MDA network management operations
The successful candidate will be able to:
Demonstrate insightful leadership and analysis in several areas, to include team building, business model adjustments, project planning/management, and technical implementation
Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with senior executives, customers, subordinate leads, and employees
Make judgments required for the planning, prioritizing and organizing a diversified workload.
Address complex challenges and drive forward despite setbacks.
Basic Requirements
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 18 years of general experience; Associate degree and 16 years of general experience; bachelor's degree and 14 years of general experience; master's degree and 12 years of general experience.
Must have at least 5 years of experience in management or leadership roles
Must have at least 10 years of directly related experience
Must have, or obtain within 6 months of starting, a DoD 8570.01 IAM Level III Certification such as CISSP or higher
Must have an active Secret-level clearance or above
Must be a US Citizen
