BIOTRONIK is seeking a dedicated Contracts Administrator I to join our team! In this impactful role, you will manage and administer contracts across a range of healthcare providers, including hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Office-Based Labs (OBLs), and Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASCs) for all BIOTRONIK product lines.

As a key player in our contracting team, you will analyze proposed pricing and fee schedules to ensure compliance with BIOTRONIK's standards, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary. Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and revising pricing agreements to maintain alignment with company guidelines, as well as negotiating revisions with appropriate Hospital, IDN, GPO, OBL or ASC contacts. You'll also ensure accurate pricing in the SAP system and provide support to BIOTRONIK teams in pricing research and discrepancy resolution.

Your Responsibilities


  • Develop and submit RFPs, RFIs, and other proposals ensuring pricing and terms conform to guidelines and format is in accordance with BIOTRONIK and/or hospital or purchasing group requirements.
  • Administer contractual agreements with hospitals including but not limited to pricing agreements, clinical studies, additions or deletions of products, term extensions and other changes that are governed by the contract.
  • Engage with business leadership and Corporate Accounts team to understand the target customers and our current process for promoting and selling to key accounts; incorporate goals into contracting tools and strategies.
  • Perform intermediate contract and deal analysis including analysis of rebates and incentive structures; provide insight to sales organization to help guide decision-making.
  • Engage in initial and ongoing product education to ensure up-to-date knowledge of BIOTRONIK product offerings.
  • Analyze proposed pricing and obtain appropriate management feedback and approvals.
  • Interpret customer-imposed terms & conditions to ensure they conform to BIOTRONIK standards and obtain approvals where they do not.
  • Maintain internal corporate reporting with regards to effort summaries, new product releases or other defined metrics. Special projects as assigned.
  • Continuously review, improve and streamline processes and procedures relating to essential duties and responsibilities to increase efficiencies and effectiveness of responsible area.evelop and submit RFPs, RFIs, and other proposals.

Your Profile


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.
  • One to two years of experience in contract administration.
  • Beginning to intermediate contract deal analysis skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proven experience using Word, Excel, and other related software programs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure; good time management, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail and to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to work with co-workers, customers, and outside agencies professionally and tactfully
  • Ability work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to reach out and navigate through a hospital system to find the correct contact for correspondence
  • SAP and Salesforce experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in business administration, finance or a related field.
  • Two to three years of experience in contract administration.
  • Medical device contracting experience.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

If working remotely, the job should operate in an appropriate work area that considers ergonomics, equipment, noise and potential disruptions. The remote workspace should provide an adequate work area, lighting, telephone and internet service, power and temperature control.

The employee is frequently required to talk and hear.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Standard days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours of work may vary depending on time zone supported. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

No travel is expected for this position.
