Shift: 2nd, Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm
Set up and operate a multitude of CNC Carbide Presses which may include the following machines: Dorst, Osterwalder, Hydra-Chief or Teledyne.
Computer controlled setup of these machines.
Make adjustment to CNC programs as a part of setup.
Load and off-load inserts from multiple presses.
Gage inserts to insure proper dimensions.
Scope inserts to verify visual characteristics.
Pull samples and Record inspection results on route cart.
Selecting and weighing Tungsten powder for pressing into green inserts.
Separate scrap from good inserts document accurately.
Scan correct production information.
Maintain tooling used in machines, resurfacing as needed.
Operate other equipment as needed.
Train new operators when required.
Operators required to troubleshoot moderate to complex problems.
