Summary:
The Canadian Marketing Business Partner is an integral member of the Grifols Plasma Procurement Marketing team, helping to deliver growth objectives for both Grifols and our Canadian partners. This involves developing and implementing local retail marketing strategies to meet traffic, collection and profitability growth projections, collaborating with and influencing peer groups in various departments to contribute to marketing plans that drive growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of the Canadian plasma market, the partner landscape and characteristics (demographic & psychographic) of those donating plasma.
Drive growth marketing efforts across existing and new locations in Canada, in collaboration with Operational partners and US Stakeholders.
Adapt & implement marketing and advertising strategies, similar to that found in retail, to meet traffic, collection and profitability growth projections.
Build and maintain a marketing culture within local donor centers through support and education, presentations, and relationship building.
Develop and execute local market activation programs that align with the Grifols brand architecture to increase brand awareness, increase conversion rates for new donor acquisition and retain donors in each market.
Develop third party marketing partnership strategy and help deliver local partnership marketing programs to drive increased traffic.
Participate in the planning & support of retail location grand openings and re-openings.
Collaborate with various departments in the US, including Operations, plasma marketing, and business excellence, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Provide feedback to the Plasma Leadership Team on market demands, donor landscape and customer feedback.
Position will be located in Canada.

Collaborates with colleagues and cross-functional groups on projects and strategies to reach operational targets.
Leadership of agency partners. Importantly, this does not mean delegation of strategic thinking. agency partners are viewed as execution support.
Strong creative problem-solving skills, willingness to think/act like an entrepreneur.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Prior experience in both Marketing and PR strategy and execution.
Candidate should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to analyze and prepare data for presentation purposes, organization and planning competency, strategic thinking, problem analysis and problem-solving, interpersonal skills, decisive, adaptive and the ability to use good judgement.
Ability to travel within the Canada & U.S..
Ability to work with and around people of diverse cultures and education levels. Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field required. English (fluency in French is a plus)
At least 5 - 8 years' experience in public relations and customer acquisition/retention programs in retail, franchise or healthcare organizations. Understanding of Social Media Marketing, managing SEO/SEM, display advertising campaigns and CRM platform. Fluency in French is a plus.
