Job Description:

2nd shift: 2:30p-11p

As a technician in ECoat, you will be responsible for operations of an anodic electrocoating paint system and the industrial wastewater treatment operations for the facility. This includes but is not limited to:


  • Initiating & controlling operations by PLC/HMI

  • Manually utilizing switches & valves

  • Maintaining system & various equipment in the department (ie. Nozzles, plumbing, pumps, etc.)

  • Safely handle chemicals and make additions as necessary

  • Operating and working on diaphragm pumps

  • Record keeping

  • Work with team members and seek continuous improvement for the department and its operations

  • Cross-functional collaborations with various departments

Basic requirements:


  • Technical/Mechanical aptitude

  • Must be a self-starter, willing to learn & take ownership in the role

  • Must be team player


Preferred:

  • SC Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment License

  • Technical Associates Degree

  • Industrial/Manufacturing experience


License Requirements: SC Physical/Chemical Wastewater Treatment License

Engineering Tech Trainee: apply for trainee permit immediately upon hire; work towards passing your D level exam within the first year

Engineering Tech I: D level license

Engineering Tech II: B level license
