Job Description:

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an entry-level Project Engineer in our Seneca, SC manufacturing facility.

What will you do?


  • Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and power system requirements as they apply to Low Voltage Motor Control Centers

  • Create concise instructions via engineering systems to create approval packages and/or manufacturing releases

  • Work with the field office to resolve any discrepancies between the customer documentation and order entry, obtaining change orders as necessary to meet customer timelines.


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Recently graduated with a four-year degree in engineering or two-year degree plus applicable motor control experience

  • Low-voltage Motor Control Centers knowledge and a practical technical knowledge of automation

  • Strong interpersonal skills for working directly with internal and external customers

  • General working knowledge of control logic such that most of the drawing can be created independently

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential

  • Experience in manufacturing or project-based environments.
