A Brief Overview
The Director of Consumer Insights is responsible for developing and directing strategic projects to collect, study, and utilize data aimed to understand the evolving needs of the aesthetic consumer. This role will collaborate with both Global and Regional cross-functional team members to provide actionable insights that will drive consumer-focused, data-driven decisions. The Director will also be responsible for regular monitoring of consumer/beauty trends and translating the impact to the medical aesthetic industry.
What you will do
Primary Market Research:
Leads all consumer-related primary marketing research initiatives, leveraging a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies
Consumer Trend Outlook:
Leads the identification of emerging and long-term beauty trends and translating the relevance to the medical aesthetic market to inform future strategy
Consumer Data Analytics:
Evaluates and identifies potential consumer data platforms to aid in analytical and research objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) Marketing, Market Research, Business, Economics, Psychology or other related field
7+ years Experience leading consumer insights for a mid-large global organization
3-5 years Of related CPG, beauty, or medical aesthetics experience
Experience working in a global role and/or cross-cultural competency
Technical & Functional Skills:
Strong understanding of primary market research methodologies and when/how to use each Required
Ability synthesize and translate consumer research and data into actionable insights and formulate a compelling story Required
Excellent communication and storytelling skills Required
Strong PowerPoint skills to translate data and insights into compelling presentations Required
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree Business Administration, Marketing, Market Research, Business, Economics, Psychology or other related field
