Dairy Farm Research Technician
This a temporary role with the opportunity to become a fulltime benefited position in time.
This is a milker/runner/floater position responsible for the collection of salable high quality milk from dairy cows and measurements of milk weights along with any required milk samples. As a runner, this position is responsible for maintaining stall beds, flushing alleys, and movement of cows to and from parlor.
Shift schedule: Sunday through Saturday 2nd Shift (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) including some weekends and Holidays. Some work may be required on 1st shift at times.(4:30 AM - 1:00 PM)
Hourly Pay: $17.88
Required Experience/Education/Competencies:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to lift 50# repeatedly
Preferred Experience:
Animal care experience, livestock preferred
