Sales Specialist, Fitch Ratings and Research (FRRD)

Fitch Solutions is currently seeking an FRRD Sales Specialist based out of our New York offices.

The FRRD Sales Specialist will be responsible for leading new business and cross sell sales efforts for Fitch Solutions Accounts in the United States. This fast-paced role will create and execute a sales strategy focused on our Ratings, Credit Research, and our Financial Data & Analytics offerings into existing global accounts.

We'll Count on You To:


  • Identify and engage with potential new customers to drive sales.
  • Nurture strong relationships with clients to maintain loyalty and encourage repeat business.
  • Understand and promote company products and/or services.
  • Conduct market research and stay abreast of competitor positioning.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing and resolving customer queries or complaints.
  • Actively participate in sales team meetings and provide insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective strategies for promoting products or services.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients.
  • Handle negotiations and close sales deals effectively, meeting or exceeding sales quotas and goals

What You Need to Have:


  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably as a Sales Specialist or similar.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and other relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is usually preferred.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $130,000 and $165,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
