Summary of Role:



GlobalFoundries is excited to offer a Finance Rotational Accelerator program for New College Graduates, designed to provide high-potential talent with accelerated career exposure to key areas within our finance organization. Participants will rotate through several core Finance/Accounting functions, providing both strategic and technical opportunities, gaining hands-on development experience enhanced by skills workshops, leadership opportunities, cross-functional group projects and mentorships. Essential Responsibilities:



  • Provides two to three 12-month unique opportunities and accelerates early career growth.

  • Opportunities could include Enterprise or Business Unit Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Manufacturing Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Investor Relations, Finance Transformation, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Internal Control, Internal Audit, Tax Accounting, Technical Accounting/Compliance, Financial Reporting, etc.

  • Apply Finance and Accounting principles in a fast-paced, growing and dynamic industry.

  • Build a well-rounded foundation before specializing in future opportunities.

  • Provides an opportunity to explore different areas of interest through cross-departmental collaboration, growth and experience.

  • Analyze financial data and assist in the development and maintaining of financial models to support business planning, financial forecasting and strategic direction.

  • Support the monitoring of Company's cash flow and manufacturing costs.

  • Assist in preparing quarterly Earnings Releases, Investor Presentations, and Annual Reports.

  • Analyze financial statements and market trends.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

  • Perform testing of account balances/transactions.

  • Monitor daily cash flow forecasts and liquidity to meet operational and financial obligations.

  • Partner with stakeholders and business partners across the organization to create value and drive finance and accounting initiatives.

  • Drive continuous improvement across Finance and Accounting processes and procedures.

  • Obtain structured development through job shadowing, plant tours, product showcases, formal training, mentoring and personal coaching.

  • Build technical, leadership and systems capabilities at an accelerated pace.

  • Be a part of an innovative team and culture.

  • Work on challenging and meaningful assignments that span multiple areas of the organization, directly impacting bottom line financial results.

  • Obtain coaching and guidance from leadership advisors, managers and mentors to grow professionally and maintain continued support throughout the program.

Other Responsibilities:



  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.




Required Qualifications:



  • Education - Graduating with Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Accounting or related field from an accredited degree program (Masters preferred).

  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.

  • Pathway to pursue a certified professional designation (CPA, CFA, CIA, CMA, etc.)

  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal).

  • Strong analytical and research skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.

  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.

  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

  • Strong planning & organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

Expected Salary Range

$46,100.00 - $82,300.00
