About the Team
At Bose, we've spent 50 years finding new ways to bring quality audio and simplicity to people -- in their home, on the go, or wherever music is enjoyed. The Pre-development team is focused on bringing these values to the kitchen, back porch, or your favorite trail. Our goal is to provide a premium polished experience and bring a great soundtrack to every day.

Responsibilities:


  • Work collaboratively with other cross functional engineers to execute software delivery plans.

  • Design and implement software components within the framework of a software architecture.

  • Integrate and optimize new ML/AI algorithms on in market and new products.

  • Train, maintain, and optimize machine learning models.

  • Design test infrastructure to prove embedded model meets the performance expectations of research simulations.

  • Implement software support for new ML/AI algorithms by integrating software libraries into the platform and optimizing generated code.

  • Contribute to all phases of the software development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, test coordination, documentation, and lifecycle management.

About You


  • Experience with optimizing and integrating ML on embedded products

  • Experience with Embedded C on 32-bit microcontrollers (Cortex M0, M0+, M3, M4, and M7, M33, M55, peripheral configuration, DMA, memory management)

  • Experience with Python

  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink including code generation

  • Experience with machine learning on PyTorch, Keras, TensorFlow Lite, or similar

  • Strong spoken and written communication skills

  • Experience with source code management (SCM) tools (Subversion, Git, Perforce, etc.)

Preferred Skills


  • Experience with shell scripting and Linux command line tools

  • Experience with DSP architectures

  • Exposure to build and configuration tools (Electric Commander, Make, CMake, Conan/Groovy)

  • Exposure to procedural, object oriented, and functional programming concepts (lambdas, templates, and generic programming) utilizing C++ '11/'14

  • Exposure to debugging with GDB
