Description: Our client is currently seeking a Surgical Technologist to join their team!
Scope of role:
Location: Seattle, WA
Hours: 6:45 - 5:25
Job Engagement: Contract
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Serves in the scrub role during assigned procedures.
Places equipment and supplies in operating room and arranges instruments, according to instruction.
Maintains supply of fluids and medications labeled and ready for use during operation.
Hands instruments and supplies to surgeon, holds retractors, and performs other tasks as directed by surgeon during operation within scope of practice.
Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and facilitates the progress of the surgical procedure.
Effectively coordinates equipment, supplies and instrumentation according to surgeons preference cards. Collaborates with members of the surgical team in the updating and maintenance of preference cards.
Functions competently within multiple specialty areas and serves in a flexible scrub role with minimal notice
Qualifications & Requirements:
High School Diploma to GED required
Graduate from a school of surgical technology
BLS certificate
Registered as a surgical technician in Washington state
