The Epic Certified Systems Admin (ECSA) is responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrades, support, monitoring, and maintenance of the Epic Client Systems infrastructure on virtual Windows servers.
Requirements:
Five (5) or more years of experience in system operations, network or server administration, or technical support in a Windows Enterprise environment.
Epic Certification in one or more ECSA/ECSM. Must have and be willing to obtain other Epic ECSA certifications.
Minimum certification: Epic Client Systems Administrator for Hyperspace Web and Interconnect.
Citrix Certifications (must be willing to obtain).
Key Responsibilities:
Understand and manage MyChart, MyChart Mobile, EpicCare Link, Care Everywhere, Hyperspace Web, Interconnect, Kuiper, System Pulse, and Hyperspace/Hyperdrive applications from an administrator level.
Handle daily operations of the Epic Client Systems components.
Assist with managing Citrix and VMware environments as needed.
Lead product release management functions, including developing and performing test plans, facilitating end-user testing, and developing application validation scripts for the ongoing operations team.
VMWare experience.
Preferred Knowledge:
Clinical and Business Applications, e.g., Epic, Hyland OnBase, PACS, Rhapsody, Citrix, ServiceNow, Imprivata, etc.
Skills:
Proficiency in Hyperspace, Hyperdrive, BLOB, BCA (Business Continuity Access), Printing, Hyperspace Web, Kuiper Interconnect, System Pulse, and Care Everywhere.
Experience with Citrix/Epic Client, Windows Administration, and/or Citrix NetScaler.
Preferred experience with NetScaler SDX/VPX, NetScaler Gateway, Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, and Workspace Environment Management.
