Position Summary: Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization. 

Priorities:


  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards for the business and related entities.

  • Prepare and perform journal entries, assigning entries to proper accounts.  

  • Perform monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation.  

  • Provide internal auditing services for specified accounts as assigned.  

  • Complete monthly and quarterly corporate financial compliance reporting, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements.  

  • Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements.  

  • Prepare personal and real property tax returns as required. 

  • Prepare periodic budget reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.  

  • Preform variance analysis and provide written explanations.

  • Support annual external financial review process.

The pay range is $80,000 - $95,000 per year.  Starting pay rate will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable agreement. Dependent on the length of service, hours worked, and applicable agreements, benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and optional disability insurance, sick pay of 2.66 hours for every 80 hours worked, Vacation pay of 3.08 hours for every 80 hours worked, paid holidays (6 days annually), three personal days (prorated based on start date), bereavement pay and retirement benefits.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): The following are required to enable job holders to perform the essential functions of the job.


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, required.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP.

  • Excellent organization skills with an ability to multi-task.

  • Exception interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proven problem-solving ability.

Technology Skills:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and outlook.

  • Competent with Microsoft Teams.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
