ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists in the maintenance of pumps, pump stations and wastewater treatment plant, checks pumps stations and pumps on a regularly scheduled basis to insure proper operating condition, assists with rebuilding and/or replacing faulty pumps, and preventative maintenance on pumps and pump stations;
Maintains all tools and equipment in good working order;
Assists with pulling and reinstalling pumps;
Assists with rebuilding pumps;
Assists with preventative maintenance on pump stations;
Reports all problems to supervisor;
Assists with preventative maintenance on flood pump stations;
Assists other departments and/or agencies as directed;
Assists contractors working on sewer projects as directed;
Other duties as assigned.
