POSITION SUMMARY:



DuBois Chemicals is looking to hire a high-achieving Manager of Inside Sales to assume a portfolio of customers with excellent upside growth potential. Responsible for developing remote sales strategies and leading a team of Inside Sales Representatives to increase retention and achieve growth targets for assigned accounts. Demonstrate the company's core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Develop sales strategies, set sales targets and direct activity to retain and expand sales to meet goals.


  • Recruit, train and coach Inside Sales Representatives.


  • Optimize the sales process and collaborate with field sales organization.


  • Manage customer relationships and sourcing new business opportunities through in-bound lead follow up and out-bound cold calls and emails.


  • Communicate corporate vision, mission and strategy to the team and create plans to drive accountability.


  • Lead by example with consistent displays of DuBois values and culture.


  • Foster teamwork through collaboration and cooperation.


  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers that do not require in-person sales visits or service.


  • Generate new sales from past customers that do not require in-person sales visits or service.


  • Prepare scripted introductions and become proficient in their use for cold calls.


  • Manage a cost center budget.





MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, chemistry or other related discipline.


  • 5+ years of Inside Sales Management Experience


  • Demonstrated experience with CRM and Microsoft Office


  • In-depth understanding of the sales process


  • Strong leadership and team management skills


  • Possess very strong skills with phone sales.


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.


  • Driven and ambitious individual with strong desire to succeed


  • Experience in specialty chemical industry.


  • Capable of processing sales orders via the DuBois Customer Service ordering process.
