Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or deductions.
Review and verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with payroll-related compliance, including tax filings and audits.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related benefits.
Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate reporting of employee hours and leave balances.
Prepare payroll reports for management as needed.
Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll software systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Works with business partners and vendors to analyze and define the business process that needs an IT solution.
Identifies and documents high-level requirements, maps future state of the payroll and time and attendance solutions, and ensures the system/solution meets business and user requirements.
Document and map business process and requirements for the future state of the payroll and time and attendance solutions.
Identify and understand the end user's need. Facilitate the business process redesign and documentation as needed.
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
Minimum [2-4] years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and practices.
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
