Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Must reside within 50 miles/1hour commute from a Elevance Health location.
The Initiative Project Leader is responsible for analyzing, determining, and driving opportunities to standardize, eliminate waste and improve end to end processes.
How you will make an impact:
Serves as a thought leader regarding improvements of end-to-end processes enterprise wide, with integration points in key business areas, Health Solutions, Provider Operations, Health Care Network and Cost of Care.
Leads initiatives from assessment through implementation of solutions and ensures that business controls are put in place to monitor sustainability of process improvements.
Builds consensus across organizational functional areas, lead root cause analysis, uncover trends, contribute to solution definition and determine best practices both internally and externally.
Identifies and resolves tactical and strategic, high-priority organizational and business issues (SWAT team approach).
Ensures alignment with other Enterprise initiatives.
Evaluates the end-to-end business functions leading with understanding the current state experiences, business outcomes, gaps and problem root causes.
Develops future state design along with a clear short term and long-term roadmap to get to the future state by applying different levers of transformation such as process elimination/simplification, analytics, advanced automation, technology, digital solutions etc.
Drives efficiency improvements related to speed, quality, and simplification by eliminating rework, reducing and automating manual work and hand-offs Identifying and implementing best practices across business units.
Takes a consultative approach towards transformation by partnering with the business stakeholders as well as different delivery teams across the organization to deliver the future state roadmap.
Has the ability to build collaborative partnerships across multiple different teams across the organization.
Travels to worksite and other locations, as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in an operations environment including 7 years of leading and directing large enterprise-wide projects; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
