The Medicare Inside Sales and Retention Lead is responsible for providing support for the sales and retention team and achieving set sales and retention goals from reps re-selling Individual Medicare plans to existing members in all of the company's states.
How you will make an impact:
Responsible for increasing member retention (decrease in lapse rates) by working with at-risk members.
Reviews and resolves complex customer service, billing, underwriting, and rate action requests that have not been resolved by the Member Retention staff.
Performs Quality Monitoring of Retention Agents to ensure performance is at peak levels when attempting to retain members.
Identifies, creates, and implements efficiencies.
Trains and coaches the Retention Agents in selling/servicing current members.
Works cross-functionally across Medicare and GBD business units to report and share trends impacting the member sales and service experience.
May perform retention agent/member services duties and assist members in our retention campaigns during AEP.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of sales experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Requires and must maintain appropriate license required by the Department of Insurance to sell Medical, Dental and Life products in all states served by the Company's Direct Sales.
