Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Project Director will identify key people to bring about change, develop a network of contacts, and target specific people to achieve end-to-end project life cycle delivery: managing business, resources, and workstreams.
How you will make an impact:
Manages projects across business units, regions, or the enterprise; influences at all levels within the organization, often setting strategy and direction;
Coaches and mentors project team members; mentors other project managers around project management methodology;
Develops training plans; defines, recommends, and secures contractual agreements for services and products;
Coordinates requirements, schedules implementation, and post-implement plans, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms;
Develops requirements documents; develops project approval matrix; identify project team training and tool needs;
Defines quality gates for each project methodology phase;
Defines critical success factors; establishes and manages the project warranty period
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 9 years of professional project management experience, of which at least 7 years are spent leading and directing large project tasks; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Awareness of significant contributing factors to managing project change and demonstration of a solid understanding of end-to-end business processes and critical IT dependencies are strongly preferred
Master in Project Mgt preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
