Job Description:

Location: This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and 1-2 days in office per week.


The HR Operations Coordinator Sr. is responsible for processing transactional work in the HR Operations team.



How you will make an impact:



  • Processes adjustments and changes for benefits/payroll/data management.

  • Answers LOA inquiries, status updates, leave and payroll inquiries and validations.

  • Performs balancing activities.

  • Maintains records.

  • Supports system changes.

  • Runs and analyzes reports and queries.

  • Resolves systems processing problems.

  • Researches and resolves complex transactional inquiries.

  • Performs UAT testing.

  • Participates on project teams and identifies process improvement needs.

  • Processes department specific transactional work.

  • Point of contact for compliance inquires and escalates to the appropriate people or departments.




Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience in HR Operations, mastery of at least one HR Operations discipline and exposure to at least one other, including Workday transactional processing; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.




Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:



  • Strongly preferred BA/BS.
