Staff VP Medicaid Whole Health




Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This leadership role will take part in the hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and in office days 3 or more times per week. May be located within 50-miles or less to any Elevance Health PulsePoint office.



Summary



The Staff VP, Medicaid Whole Health will be responsible for oversight of the Medicaid Health Plans whole health initiatives, while aligning with enterprise objectives. Oversees all whole health within the scope of Medicaid Health Plans.

Position Responsibilities



  • Governance across all health plans, including establishing organizational model for Medicaid Health plans that is inclusive and in accordance with state specific requirements/needs.

  • Develops and implements metrics across all markets to measure outcomes.

  • Establishes and oversees Medicaid governance structure, with oversight of steering workgroups and councils.

  • Supports whole health and health equity strategy and execution at the health plan level.

  • Leads Social Drivers of Health (SDoH) strategy and execution at the Medicaid health plan level. This includes the program development as well as deployment of roles in the local markets.

  • Aligns health equity focus within or around whole health to ensure targets and metrics are continually evaluated, including reporting and outcomes to show impacts on underserved populations.

  • Implements and maintains whole health model.

  • Determines branding approach specific to Medicaid.

  • Monitors markets and emerging state issues to leverage the data of health plans. Responsible for supporting population/whole health in request for proposals (RFPs).




Position Requirements



  • Requires BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 15 years' experience, which includes 10+ prior management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Experience with Medicaid Health Plans in multiple markets and Whole Health Initiatives, while aligning with enterprise objectives.

  • Ability to travel.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $172,560.00 to $310,608.00
