Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Business Analyst II is responsible for translating basic business needs into application software requirements.
How you will make an impact:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs.
Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 3 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to critically analyze and interpret business scenarios and technical concepts.
Experience with Medicaid Enrollment systems (Facets or WGS) and associated operational processes.
Experience working with Enrollment EDI files (834/proprietary).
Demonstrated abilities in requirements elicitation and writing.
User acceptance testing experience on system enhancements.
Ability to manage deliverables and effectively communicate across functional audiences (IT and business).
Experience working within Agile framework.
Jira and Confluence experience.
SharePoint proficiency, including creating and maintaining pages and lists.
Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
SQL experience or willingness to proactively seek applicable training and coaching.
