Business Strategy Planning Director- National Accounts




Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will
live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.


The Business Strategy Planning Director- National Accounts will be responsible for business unit strategic planning
and customer insight work.



How you will make an impact:



  • Understands all aspects of the business and partners with executive leadership to define strategy and successful criteria for the future

  • Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of enterprises strategic plans to turn strategy into reality

  • Serves as business partner liaison to growth partners such as Commercial Product and Carelon to best represent the voice of the customer for National Account clients and client teams.

  • Drives strategic priorities such as product and solution needs or executing target pilot programs for clients.

  • Assists in implementation of new programs and handles issue resolution for client teams on new programs.

  • Documents strategic priorities such as external environment and reports on customer insight research initiatives

  • Builds and leverages relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems

  • Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment

  • Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of line of business planning and project activities




Minimum Requirements:



  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience and 3 to 5 year strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.




Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:



  • Client management or client focused support experience preferred.
