Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level two System Engineer position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position will provide server support focusing on design, specification, integration and implementation of enterprise-wide, large-scale data center server architecture operating on complex distributed networks with multiple classification enclaves and integrated with DoD C2 systems utilizing associated information assurance processes/procedures.
Compensation Minimum: $115,000
Compensation Maximum: $120,000
Job Requirements:
Skills / Experience Required
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
3+ years of hands-on professional experience as Cyber Engineer & Cyber Lead for program/project of similar size and scope
2+ years of hands-on professional experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
2+ years of experience as Systems Engineer supporting a DOD program of similar size and scope
Enterprise Server services will support the following policies and technologies:
Microsoft Windows server architectures
Red Hat Linux server architectures
VMware vSphere architectures
Nutanix architectures
Microsoft SQL server architectures including always on clusters
Infrastructure as a service
Platform as a service
Server and application provisioning through automation
Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) certification, any type
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification, any type
Microsoft Windows Certification, any type
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field
Possess IAT/IAM Level II or greater
CCNA_Security or CySA or GICSP or GSEC or Security+CE pr CND or SSCP

Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
