We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer with an unwavering passion for designing meaningful, easy-to-use applications. Most of the work we do is on large-scale, enterprise-wide systems (both commercial and government)-this project, in particular, will be a new application for an agency to get answers and insights faster allowing them to act more quickly and spend more time having a direct impact on a portion of Americans they serve.

We are looking for a full-stack engineer with strong application design and development skills. In this role, you must possess excellent problem-solving skills and deep technical knowledge with a strong aptitude for appreciating the focus, scope, and impact of your work in a much wider and forward-looking software landscape. You should also be able to demonstrate a history of technical leadership, excellent communication, and a positive attitude.

You have:
5+ years of engineering experience
BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
A default of self-motivation, taking initiative, and strong communication skills
Passion for learning new technologies and the ability to do so quickly
Ability to write high-quality code efficiently
A background with Agile application development and practices
Test-Driven Development experiences
Python experience for backend development
REST API Design
HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience for frontend development
Experience with supporting an application in production and the DevOps approach to software development
Nice to have:
Experience with reactive front-end frameworks like ReactJS
Experience with USWDS design patterns
SQLAlchemy
A desire to "shift left" on testing responsibilities
Experience with testing philosophies and including unit, integration, and end-to-end and tooling for each.
Familiarity with DevSecOps, particularly infrastructure-as-code for Azure
Familiarity with Azure-native methods and tooling for observability and security
