Overview
Are you someone who has given thought to a career in the culinary world? Our Concierge Lounge Attendant position is a great place to start! This role will support the culinary team at our properties in ensuring that food preparation is completed for breakfast and lunch services, that the guest areas are clean and maintained, that food items are served and stored within guidelines, and serving equipment is cleaned and maintained. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys guest interaction and would liek to build a skillset required for a culinary career.
Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and serving daily breakfast items, greeting each guest and ensuring the guests' are comfortable and overall satisfied
The Concierge Lounge Attendant will report directly to the Director of Operations - Culinary
Interacts with guests
Communicate special requests made by guests
Actively participates in Guest Service Initiatives
Providing personalized service to all guests
Setting up and maintaining the breakfast area as required by brand standards
Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day and communicatiing with Director of Ops - Culinary
Stocking coffee, juice, and milk machines or dispensers
Follow menu requirements as provided by the brand
Restocking items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for next day
Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
Keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area, clearing tables, kitchen counters, cabinets, and floors
Listening and responding to guests' requests and complaints
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role is preffered but not required
Knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients preffered but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Willingness to learn and take direction from culinary staff and leaders
