Manage, schedule, and complete forklift modifications within the truck's modifications department for the required forklift units sold to dealers.
Role & Responsibility
Successfully complete forklift installations and modifications per dealer request including but not limited to: Ur Kits, Herc Kits, Fork Swaps, Tire Swaps, Mast removal and Installation, Cab installations, Battery Installations, Paint Repairs, Class 3 assembly, Crown tele kits, Decal placement, DEF fluid, and any rework requirements, scheduling workload by priority of units
Order forklift parts from DIVAC Warehouse parts department to complete required modifications, installations, and drop shipments to dealer locations
Partner with the DIVAC Quality Control team to repair forklifts, complete recalls and perform daily inspections of all forklift units sold
Maintain parts inventory to complete modifications and department requirements for forklifts, batteries, kits, lights, hardware etc.
Receive and process forklift trucks into SAP ERP system for tracking and monitoring metrics to support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Dispatch and process all forklifts received at the warehouse utilizing warehouse dock stations to coordinate daily pick-ups and deliveries from carriers
Job Requirement
Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of forklift truck mechanic's training course required
Ability to use hand and power tools to repair forklift trucks
