Position Description

We are seeking service technicians in the field of fire alarm and low voltage electronics. The ideal candidate is an excellent troubleshooter, enjoys tinkering with electronics, and has great documentation and communication skills. Installation, maintenance, testing and some electrical work comes with the job. Outer Island traveling is required. We like creative thinkers. Work Consists of, But Not Limited to:

• Performing annual, semi-annual and quarterly fire alarm inspections.
• Troubleshooting, servicing and repairing of Fire Alarm systems.
• Programming new and existing fire alarm and other low voltage systems.
• Commissioning and testing new systems.

Position Requirements

• Good working knowledge of NFPA-72, 70, 101 and other applicable codes and standards. NICET certification in fire alarm systems preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience working on fire alarm systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders.
