Job Description:

Cub in Rochester on 15th Avenue is looking for a Clean Team associate to provide support in maintaining clean and safe store conditions. This position is ensuring safe and clean store conditions, mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and pulling cardboard. This position requires ongoing heavy lifting and pushing, walking, use of cleaning equipment, exposure to outside conditions and wet surfaces, social skills/verbal interaction, and judgement/decision making.

Job Functions

• Ensures that carts are available for customers
• Maintains proper floor conditions
• Removes and disposes of trash.
• Assist customers with questions or requests
• Utilizes personal protective devices (chemical resistant gloves, safety glasses/goggles, rubber over boots, chemical splash goggles) as instructed.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties.
• Cleans bathrooms

Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Job Requirements

• Lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling 50 to 100lbs.

• Equipment operation (carts, cart rope), stooping/bending, reaching, walking, turning.

• Judgement/decision making.

• Standing, walking on uneven ground.

• Social skills/verbal interaction.

Schedule

• Evenings and weekends between 3pm-9pm
