Summary/Objective

This role will supervise the start-up and/or daily operations of field technician staff, ensuring production levels are met or exceeded while maintaining all safety and quality requirements. The Project Supervisor will assist the Field Manager/Project Manager in the planning and coordination of project activities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours will vary based on client expectations and work availability. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required as job duties demand.

Salary is Negotiable

Travel

Up to 10% travel (including some overnight travel) is expected for this position.

  • Promote health & safety awareness and education to employees and work to identify and minimize workplace hazards.
  • Supervise daily operations of project team including staff, safety, quality, production, vehicles and equipment.
  • Support accurate record keeping for project equipment/assets and make recommendations for appropriate inventory.
  • Identify and recommend training needed to ensure knowledge gaps are addressed and resolved.
  • Ensure field technicians have a steady flow of assigned work by planning inclusive of assigned maps, area and equipment.
  • Perform audits and inspections to assure quality of technician work.
  • Follow company policies related to company vehicle use including performing monthly vehicle and equipment inspections by completing documentation and providing copies to Project Manager.
  • Obtain Evaluator status and maintain skill sets necessary to be productive in the field if needed to assist with schedule completion.
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures in a consistent manner.

Work Environment

The job requires time outside in a variety of weather conditions and varying terrain as well as time in a more traditional office administration environment.

Physical Requirements

This position requires close vision and the ability to adjust eyesight along with the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary. It also requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle, occasional heavy lifting and the potential need to be able to walk up to 8 miles a day on various terrain.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and client services experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word and other scheduling/tracking software as well as ability to adopt new technologies.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can problem-solve, identify gaps and respond with escalation and/or clear decision-making.
  • Payroll, Time Tracker, Invoicing.
  • Requisitioning.
  • Quality Control.
  • Performance Improvement.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree or a combination of related education and work experience preferred or equivalent academic education and experience/Military Experience.
  • At least 1 year of project or field supervisory or lead experience.
