In collaboration with the Student Management Director, the Student Management Manager provides corporate oversight and support to Job Corps operations in the following areas: Dormitory/Residential, Recreation, Center Standards Incentive Officer (CSIO), and Student Leadership. Supports include but are not limited to: staff training, audits, assessments, contract transitions, and temporarily filling senior positions at contract locations. SMM will also draft, review and update applicable company policies and procedures. SMM will motivate and empower staff to carry out policies and procedures that will impact student retention.
Provide support (in-person and remote) to center managers and directors in areas of oversight.
Recommend actions in alignment with Department of Labor and Adams and Associates' policy when requested.
Mentor new managers and directors to efficiently adapt to their roles to oversee staff and student services.
Maintain positive working relationships with partners; specifically, with Department of Labor (DOL), Job Corps Center staff, contract staff and fellow corporate staff.
Participate in team assignments to include area evaluation and assessments during annual Program Assessments for each location.
Conduct regular site visits, statistical analyses and monthly conference calls to assess operational effectiveness.
Recommend action plans to improve contracts' performance and student outcomes.
Ensure quality program services are provided for students, quality is maintained by staff, and student needs are consistently met.

Qualifications
Associate's degree required. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience required. Previous youth, education, training, residential or related experience required. Job Corps experience in areas of oversight is strongly preferred. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required. Ability to develop and conduct clear and concise training presentations that will motivate and empower staff to embrace their job responsibilities. Must have computer competency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point. Extensive travel required.
