Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Solution Architect in Katy, TX.
Responsibilities:
IT Solution Architect will identify and recommend solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options focusing on productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership
Collaborate with business and technology experts to develop end-to-end solutions aligned with Enterprise Architecture standards
Build strong IT-business relationships to ensure effective operations
Model solutions across conceptual, logical, and physical perspectives
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
10+ years in IT Management or IT solutions architecture
Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint and SharePoint
Expertise in data integration patterns, cloud and hybrid cloud solutions, and network security
Familiarity with IT architectural frameworks like TOGAF and Zachman
Proficient in on-premises and cloud security, vendor management, and EA tool integration
Proficient in bridging waterfall and Agile methodologies
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated with capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and interface effectively with individuals at various levels
Ability to build consensus around proposed solutions
Ability to work well independently, as well as effectively contribute to a team environment
Ability to understand and derive lower-level roadmaps with business leadership to help set requirements' context
Preferred:
2-3 years of retail experience preferred
Knowledge of retail supply chain and merchandising, with hands-on experience in enterprise-class supply chain management systems
Strong background in SOA/Microservices design and retail COTS applications
Optimization skills in stochastic modeling, optimization algorithms, and holistic planning
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
