Design lighting/photometric, configure, and implement lighting control systems, ensuring effective integration with Building Management Systems (BMS).
Conduct assessments to ensure compliance with California Title 24 standards and other relevant codes.
Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to develop and implement lighting controls solutions.
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues with lighting control systems to maintain optimal performance and compliance.
Perform testing, validation, and commissioning of lighting systems to ensure proper functionality and alignment with client specifications.
Provide technical support to clients, assisting them with system configuration and usage.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, including Title 24 regulations, and emerging trends in lighting controls and integration technologies.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience working with lighting control systems, particularly in integrating these systems with BMS.
Strong knowledge of California Title 24 energy standards and their application to lighting control systems.
Experience with lighting control software and systems (e.g., DALI, DMX, Lutron, nLight, WattStopper, Greengate etc.).
Familiarity with common protocols for BMS integration, such as BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with project teams and providing client support.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Automation, or a related field.
Certification or training in lighting controls or BMS systems is a plus.
Pay Rate: $36-$46/hr. DOE.
